A note from Melissa, Stephanie, and Chelsea:
Whole Mamas is an online platform devoted to supporting women in all stages of motherhood. We’re honored to have your trust as we navigate this journey with you.
We know how hard it can be to find reliable information to gracefully navigate the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of all stages of motherhood. Our goal is to help you to be a strong, healthy mama; confident in your choices, so you can enjoy this very special time with your family.
It’s important that we provide you with current research and information from leading experts, so we work with registered dietitians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, doctors, midwives, and doulas so you’re equipped to thrive and help your family thrive.
To help you easily navigate through our extensive resources, we’ve categorized the website based on stage of life, so you’ll see resources for preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, and family. We’ve included resources for the Whole30 every step of the way if you choose to do one! Simply click on the stage you’re interested in learning more about and enjoy blogs, podcasts, and other helpful resources specific to that stage of life.
Want to dive deeper and interact on a personal level with Steph and other like-minded moms? Consider joining our Whole Mamas Pregnancy Program, which includes an interactive, private online community. Mamas and mamas-to-be rave about the non-judgmental, immediate support from the comfort of their own home. Included with the program and offered a la carte, our weekly pregnancy email series serves as a companion to guide you through your pregnancy.
The practical advice offered in our weekly emails is more helpful and detailed than the typical, “your baby is the size of a cantaloupe” content you may have read elsewhere. We researched dozens of health and wellness topics that will affect you as you progress through your pregnancy, and we share our research and expertise in the form of conversational, actionable emails.
Want free resources? We offer a weekly podcast that offers interviews with experts on various topics related to parenthood and tangible recaps so you can put the information you learn into action! We also have a huge library of blog posts to help you dive deeper into topics you’re interested in.
Have a question that’s not answered? Let us know by connecting with us on Instagram! Whole Mamas is community-driven, meaning we create resources based on the questions and concerns that are important to you! We’re happy to create short videos, blogs, podcasts, and interactive programs so that you feel empowered with the information you need to make the best decision.
Have a different perspective of parenthood that you don’t see represented on our website, social media, or podcast? Please let us know by sending an email to [email protected]. We want you to feel seen, heard, included and fully welcomed as part of our community.
In line with Whole30’s amplified commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all Whole30 platforms and brands, Whole Mamas is committed to addressing and attending to a variety of maternity-related health, access, and choice disparities. We acknowledge and celebrate difference in cultural pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, and parenting practices.
We also want our work to acknowledge and celebrate differences in family creation and dynamics (including but not limited to adoption, foster care, multi-generational households, fertility treatments, and gamete donation). And we intend to continue learning and using language that reflects wide-range acceptance and inclusivity. We strive to partner with brands that align with our values and offer accessible, lower-cost food options.
Again, thank you for allowing us to support you on your journey to motherhood. We value your support and trust during this exciting yet vulnerable time. We’re here for you!
Best in Health,
Melissa, Steph, and Chelsea
